Customer Service Account Manager

  • Annual Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 Bonus achievable, up to 15% of yearly salary, based on Company turnover/profit- Own customers - Agent’s turnover – Sales Team new business
  • Location: Leeds
  • Job Type: Full-time office based

Reed is recruiting on behalf of an established wholesaler based in Leeds, our client is looking to add a Customer Service Account Manager to join their dynamic and fun team. They are a company that takes risks and embraces a wild side, making them stand out in their industry. This full-time, permanent position is based in Leeds offers the opportunity to be part of a creative and energetic team.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage and develop your own customer portfolio, building on existing relationships
  • Provide exceptional customer support for trade customers, handling orders via phone, email, and our trade website
  • Utilise various operating systems, including Microsoft Dynamics/BC, Nutshell, and Zendesk
  • Collaborate closely with our UK/US field agents and their customers
  • Identify opportunities to promote additional business through existing accounts
  • Target new accounts and markets to develop new business
  • Achieve agreed sales targets
  • Assist in organising and participating in trade shows

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Team player with an enthusiastic and fun personality, coupled with a firm approach
  • Organised and accurate with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Self-starter with initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight schedules
  • Strong work ethic – flexible and hardworking
  • Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Excel and confident with numbers
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales/customer service or field sales
