A logistics coordinator will deal with an extending variation of logistics, customer service & account management duties. The role above is a variation of order processing, document control & B2B customer service. You will be the main contact for any inventory or product queries, acting as a responsive operative in managing and organising external accounts and ensuring that all clients receive the utmost attention.

The client we are working with are an international entity in the manufacturing and raw materials distribution industry. The client boasts an extensive portfolio of clients in over 80 countries. The company are looking to enforce their customer operations team and employ someone with the ability to work in a versatile environment supporting in all aspects within customer service & logistics.

Description

Key responsibilities will consist of:

  • Oversee inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Collaborate with external partners for streamlined logistics operations.
  • Efficiently monitor end-to-end shipment processes.
  • * Confirm orders and schedule collection dates, while also adjusting orders, tracking movement dates, and informing customers accordingly.
  • Prepare and dispatch Confirmation of Acceptance and collection notes to customers.
  • Maintain and handle Customer Release Notes efficiently.
  • Issue invoices to customers promptly.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints effectively.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of customer forecasts and off-take, ensuring stock is checked, planned, and allocated accordingly.
  • Order processing duties.
  • Handle documentation reconciliation.
  • Manage shipping logistics covertly.
  • Generate and distribute monthly stock reports to customers.
  • Stay attuned to the market dynamics of customers and align business strategies to meet their expectations.
  • Proactively reach out to customers via phone or email to stimulate the placement of new sales orders.
  • Assist in coordinating and participating in exhibitions as necessary.
  • Address queries and Customs post actions promptly.

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in customer service or logistics.
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in administration, planning, organisation, and time management.
  • Positive attitude towards challenges and meeting customer expectations.
  • Flexible and capable of handling ad-hoc duties and specific projects.
  • Knowledge of chemicals is advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with strong prioritisation skills.
  • SAP experience.
  • Capable of working independently while understanding the importance of teamwork.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
