Location: Huddersfield
Contract: Full Time, Permanent - 37.5 hours per week
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am until 4.30pm, with the opportunity to compress your hours in to 4 days, giving you an extra day off each week!

Join our Loss Recovery team to assist our customers who have been involved in non-fault accidents recovering losses on their behalf and pursuing the responsible Third Party/Insurer for costs incurred as a result of the accident.

As part of our growing team, you will effectively manage claims, ensuring that speed and quality of loss recovery is maximised, whilst maintaining FMG's proactive approach to claims handling. Your role will involve investigating liability, gathering information through different sources, utilising intelligence tools and settling claims in the best interest of our clients.

About You:

  • First and foremost, you’re a real people person, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • You’ll hold a professional, personable, and positive telephone manner, with the ability to show lots of empathy, build good rapport and actively listen to our customers’ needs.
  • You’ll strive to maintain the highest standards in your work, by having a keen eye for detail and pinpoint accuracy.
  • You’re confident with the use of computer software systems, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • You possess a strong ‘can-do’ attitude, showing your drive and ambition to succeed, being prepared to go above and beyond.
  • You thrive in a team-working environment, where you can effectively collaborate with others and exhibit your critical thinking skills.
  • A good understanding of the insurance industry would be essential.
