We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Customer Account Manager to join our client's dynamic team in Irlam!

The Customer Account Manager will be responsible for managing a new key client, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations exceeded. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working collaboratively with clients, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Location: Irlam

Salary: £24-26k - depending on candidate experience

Full Time, Permanent role - with hybrid working (2 days from home) upon completion of successful probation period

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and objectives.
  • Act as the main point of contact for client, effectively managing their expectations and delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximise revenue generation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and marketing, to develop and execute strategic account plan.
  • Monitor and analyse client performance, providing regular reports and insights to support decision-making and drive improvement.
  • Resolve any client issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner, always aiming for customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and events, representing the organisation in a polished and professional manner.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge and skills through training and development opportunities, staying ahead in the industry.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a client-facing role, such as account management or sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and results-driven mindset, with the ability to identify and seize business opportunities.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to interpret data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with colleagues from various departments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and other relevant tools.
