Role Type:                 FTC – Maternity cover
Salary:                        £14.70 PAYE inc. - £16.22 Umbrella
 
We have an exciting opportunity to work within a busy domestic violence charity as a Crisis Mental Health Support Worker. Working as part of Mental Health Bristol, a consortium striving to provide excellent, accessible, and person-centred mental health services to the diverse communities of Bristol.
 
Duties:
 
  • Collaborate with service users, their families, and mental health professionals to provide crucial support during acute mental health crises
  • Deliver a range of interventions to address daily health, social care, and wellbeing needs, ultimately building resilience and improving overall wellness
  • Connect individuals with community resources to support their recovery and help them live fulfilling lives
 
Preferred Requirements:
 
  • Demonstrated experience in mental health, domestic violence, and substance misuse
  • Proficiency in safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Strong ability to utilize Excel for data management and reporting
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • Relevant qualification in mental health or social care field
  • Training or certification in crisis intervention or psychological support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a compassionate and caring approach
