About our client: A reputable legal firm specialising in criminal defence, is currently seeking an accomplished Criminal Law Solicitor to join their Bromley team. This role offers a unique opportunity for a skilled legal professional to contribute significantly to criminal law cases and play a key role in their firm's continued success.

Role Summary: As a Criminal Law Solicitor with our client, you will hold a pivotal position in delivering expert legal guidance and representation in criminal defence matters. You will manage a diverse caseload, including providing advice to clients, representing them in court proceedings, negotiating settlements, and collaborating with legal professionals and external stakeholders. Your deep knowledge of criminal law will be essential in upholding our commitment to providing exceptional legal services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a caseload of criminal defence cases, representing clients during court proceedings.
  • Offer expert legal counsel to clients, explaining intricate legal concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Conduct thorough legal research, analyse evidence, and formulate effective defence strategies.
  • Collaborate with clients, legal teams, and external parties to ensure comprehensive legal representation.
  • Attend court hearings, trials, and negotiations on behalf of clients.
  • Prepare a variety of legal documents, including statements, briefs, and contracts.
  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation to adhere to regulatory standards.
  • Stay abreast of changes in criminal law and relevant legal precedents.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards in legal practice and client advocacy.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified solicitor with specialized expertise in criminal law.
  • Substantial experience in criminal defence, preferably within a respected law firm.
  • In-depth understanding of criminal law regulations, procedures, and legal precedents.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Capacity to manage a demanding caseload efficiently.
  • Membership in relevant legal associations or bodies is a plus.
