Position: Criminal Solicitor (NQ – 5 PQE+)

Job Description:

Douglas Scott are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Criminal Solicitor to join an esteemed team in Cheshire. The ideal candidate should be Police Station accredited and eager to progress towards their duty status. As a Criminal Solicitor at this firm, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding cases while contributing to the success and growth of our organisation.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive legal advice and representation in criminal law cases.
  • Manage a diverse caseload with diligence and attention to detail.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant legal developments.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Represent clients at police stations and potentially in court as needed.
  • Work towards achieving duty status and demonstrate a commitment to professional growth.
Qualifications:
  • Qualified Solicitor with NQ – 5 PQE experience in criminal law.
  • Police Station accredited with a strong understanding of legal procedures.
  • Proven track record of handling a diverse range of criminal cases effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and growth within the field of criminal law.
