A highly regarded criminal law firm in Manchester is looking for a Motor Criminal Solicitor to join its growing team.

The duties will include:

  • Providing legal advice to clients with regards to motoring law offences
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, from bail to pre-trial conferences nut not advocacy
  • Liaising with third parties to ensure a strong defence case
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including bail hearings, pre-trial conferences, plea negotiations, trials, and sentencing hearings

As your role is office based you will not be required to attend any court hearings and will instruct outside counsel to attend court.

If you are currently a Duty Solicitor looking to avoid 24/7 call-outs or a Motor Criminal Solicitor looking for a new challenge, then this opportunity will suit you.

Ideally you will be 3 years + PQE with at least 1 year dealing with defending motoring offences in a client-facing role with experience of running your own caseload, both guilty and not guilty pleas.
