As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting all credit risk management activities within the Finance Department.

As a Credit Risk Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to support the Credit Risk Manager in delivering all credit risk management activities. You will be instrumental in providing fit-for-purpose credit solutions that drive business growth. Your role will involve educating colleagues on Credit Risk Management, managing the credit limit review process, adhering to KPIs, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. You will also work closely with our chosen Credit Reference Agency and act as a deputy to the Credit Risk Manager when required.

* Support the delivery of fit-for-purpose and forward-thinking credit solutions to facilitate business growth
* Educate colleagues on Credit Risk Management
* Manage the credit limit review process proactively
* Adhere to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team
* Minimise bad debt provision & write-offs
* Allocate and assess customer risk categorisation using industry-standard methods
* Assist in the assessment of new Customer credit risk processes including initial credit/fraud risk assessment
* Collaborate with chosen Credit Reference Agency
* Act as a deputy to the Credit Risk Manager when required

The ideal candidate for this Credit Risk Analyst position brings at least two year's experience in a similar role. You will have knowledge of credit insurance processes and monitoring, as well as an understanding of the debt recovery/pre-litigation provider market.

Your ability to interpret data quickly and act upon it, coupled with your stakeholder engagement and management skills, will be crucial to your success in this role. Experience working in a high transaction environment with fast pace deadlines is essential.

The company are looking for a highly motivated and proactive team player who is computer literate with good excel skills.

* At least two year's experience in a similar role
* Knowledge of credit insurance process and monitoring
