Position: Credit Manager (Fixed-Term Contract: 18 Months)

About the Role:
As the Credit Manager, you will spearhead a dynamic team of around 10 skilled Credit Controllers in managing the credit operations for our client's vast customer base. This is a crucial role within the finance department, ensuring the smooth functioning of credit processes and mitigating risk while maximizing revenue opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Credit Controllers to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Oversee credit assessments, credit limits, and credit terms for customers in line with company policies.
- Manage credit risk by implementing effective credit control procedures and strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Sales and Customer Service teams.
- Continuously improve credit processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare regular reports and analysis on credit performance for senior management.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in credit management within the FMCG or related industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of credit risk management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
