A growing manufacturing business based in Sutton Coldfield is currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join their team of 15 on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will be responsible for managing your own ledger and chase any overdue debts.
Your new role

  • Contact customers for debts as they fall due using multiple cash collection software's and other means of communication including telephone and emails.
  • Chasing of overdue debts and escalating to the legal team when needed.
  • Stopping of accounts that exceed payment terms or credit limits.
  • Checking credit risk of potential customers
  • Reviewing credit risk of existing accounts

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in debt collecting/ credit controller role required.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational and administrative skills.
