Description

  • Chasing aged debtors and managing the weekly aged debtor report.
  • Reviewing credit applications and credit references to establish credit limits.
  • Ensuring that all transactions are compliant with the company's policies.
  • Delivering a consistent and professional level of service at all times.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure smooth running of accounts.
  • Resolving account queries promptly and professionally.
  • Preparing monthly reports and account reconciliation.
  • Updating the cashbook on a weekly basis.
  • Allocating receipts as and when they arrive from the bank.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • A strong understanding of credit control principles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; basic formulas, vlookups and pivot tables.
  • Experience using the software Sage, either 50 or 200.
