Reed Accountancy is delighted to support a returning client in the search for a Credit Controller to join a leading manufacturing company in the UK. This role is ideal for someone with experience in credit control and a good understanding of high-volume transaction environments. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing customer accounts and ensuring efficient transaction processing.Day to day of the role:
  • Managing the debt of relevant customer accounts.
  • Processing all account transactions daily.
  • Handling all customer enquiries and account reconciliations.
  • Monitoring customer portals and providing necessary data/backup/communication in response to queries.
  • Issuing regular Account Statements to customers.
  • Conducting credit checks on new customers and ensuring the company has all the relevant information on the debtor.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience within a credit control role.
  • Exposure to a high-volume transaction environment.
  • Good working knowledge of the monthly accounting cycle.
  • Strong IT skills including MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
