Job Title: Credit Controller
Location: Borehamwood
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum
12-Month Fixed Term Contract

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for resolving queries, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring timely payment collections? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are currently seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join a dynamic team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis in Borehamwood. As a Credit Controller, you will play a vital role in managing outstanding balances, chasing overdue funds, and maintaining positive relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively handle and resolve queries related to billing and invoicing.
  • Investigate discrepancies in payments and rectify errors promptly.
  • Chase overdue accounts and negotiate payment terms with customers.
  • Monitor and analyze debtor balances to ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment status.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address billing issues and improve processes.
  • Prepare regular reports on outstanding balances and collection activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while enforcing credit control policies.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in credit control or a similar finance role.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of credit control procedures and regulations.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and query resolution.
