Credit Controller
  • Annual Salary:  £28,000 - £30,000pa
  • Location: Maidstone
  • Job Type: Permanent and Full Time
  • Working Arrangements:  Office Based

We are currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a national credit team within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role is perfect for someone with a solid background in credit control who is ready to take on a new challenge and contribute to the success of multiple sites.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Managing debt across various sites to ensure timely payments.
  • Allocating payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Generating and analysing aged debt reports.
  • Placing accounts on stop as necessary.
  • Monitoring direct debit arrangements and ensuring they are up to date.
  • Handling banking transactions and reconciliations.
  • Assisting with the management of the sales ledger.
  • Performing other ad hoc duties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a credit control role.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle enquiries and disputes.
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Active listening skills to understand customer concerns and issues.
  • Persistence and determination to recover debts.
  • Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
