Meraki Talent is currently recruiting highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join one of our clients in Glasgow City Centre as a Credit Controller. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the credit control process, ensuring timely payment from clients, and minimising credit risk to the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and assessing credit applications from new and existing customers.
  • Monitoring customer accounts to ensure payments are made on time.
  • Contacting customers to follow up on overdue payments and resolve any payment discrepancies.
  • Negotiating payment plans with customers as needed.
  • Analysing credit data and making recommendations for credit limits and terms.
  • Liaising with other departments, such as sales and finance, to resolve credit-related issues.
  • Generating reports on credit control activities and performance for management review.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in credit control or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of credit principles and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
