Credit Controller

Page Personnel is supporting a highly reputable business based in Portsmouth who is looking for a Credit Controller to join their accountancy team on a 6 month temporary basis. The role reports to the Credit Control manager and works within a team of 5. You will need to attend the office every day initially.

Description

As the Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Chasing outstanding payments via phone and email
• Monthly reporting of all outstanding debt
• Negotiating payment terms with customers
• Carrying out credit checks
• Setting credit limits
• Allocating cash to accounts when paid
• Handling customer queries

Profile

In order to be considered for the Credit Controller position, you must:

• Have previously worked in a similar position and be able to demonstrate this
• Be immediately available or on very short notice
• Have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Be able to multi task
• Be able to adapt quickly
