Credit Controller

£30-35k plus benefits

Stevenage - hybrid working

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to work for a Stevenage based business, reporting in to the Credit Manager. You will possess strong Credit Control skills, and experience of working with large accounts, and corporate companies. Are you looking for a new position in Credit Control?

You will be responsible for:

• Responsible for cash collection - in excess of 150 customers 

• Opening new accounts

• Credit assessment using Credit reference agency reports, Credit Insurers and Companies house financial statements.

• Review and authorize credit limits for new and existing customers 

• Cash allocation and Account reconciliations.

• Ensure all targets are achieved in line with management directives/goals.

• Work closely with Sales to close down disputes within a timely manner.

• Weekly AR reporting.

Skills & experience:

• 3+ years’ experience in Credit Control

• Knowledge of SAP - essential

• Knowledge of Credit insurance desirable

• Proven computer literacy with Microsoft Office and Excel software.

• Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Flexible approach to multi-tasking.

• Able to manage and prioritise work tasks in a timely manner.

• Experience of working with multi-currency accounts
