Credit Controller

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for an interim Credit Controller to join a client based in Clifton. This is for an established business who provide a positive working environment within a supportive team.

The temporary contract is for an initial period of 3 circa monthswith the possibility of becoming permanent.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 3 months with potential to become permanent

Salary: Up to £30,000 (hourly rate equivalent)

Hybrid working - In the office initially for training then 3 days a week in, 2 from home

Working hours - Full time is 35 hours per week

You will use your skills to:

Manage the debtors ledger & cash collection for a portfolio of customers to maximise collections and minimise risk.

• Liaising pro-actively with customers and the wider sales team
• Query resolution
• Account reconciliations - customer and debtor
• Cash allocations and postings
• Carry out credit checks
• Setting up customer accounts, credit checking and managing credit limits
• Cash collection via phone
• Reduce overall debtor levels

Required experience/background:

• Previous experience in credit control
• Excellent communication
• Team player
• Experience using Microsoft Great Plains/Dynamics would be a bonus
• Skills needed: Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
