Credit Controller - 12 month FTC

Our client is large media business based in the heart of Reading who is looking for a Credit Controller to join them on a 12 month FTC.

Job Description

  • Overseeing the entire credit management process for a portfolio of customers from start to finish.
  • Managing the allocation of received cash among customers efficiently.
  • Actively resolving queries in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring thorough documentation of all communication including phone calls and promises of payment.
  • Following up on unfulfilled payment promises and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Collaborating closely with team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participating in sales meetings to address inquiries and identify potential credit risks.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with key customers.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year experience in a Credit Control position
  • Strong Excel experience (Pivot Tables/VLOOKUPs)
  • Ability to work well in a team

Salary:

  • Between £25,000 to £27,000 DOE
  • 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
