Credit Control Clerk

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum

Location: Nottingham

DesiredCandidate:

The perfect candidate would have previous experience in commercial credit control, particularly in a business-to-business context. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective issue resolution and relationship-building. The ideal candidate will be proactive, persistent, and maintain a professional demeanour when interacting with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Sales Ledger effectively
• Conduct thorough credit control for business-to-business accounts
• Follow up on overdue accounts via telephone communication
• Resolve invoice queries and account issues promptly
• Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions
• Identify and escalate potential issues to team leaders
• Ensure accurate allocation of payments to customer accounts
• Prepare and distribute invoices and statements as scheduled
• Assist with the onboarding and vetting of new accounts
• Process credit card payments efficiently
