Credit Controller | Carrington | Innovative Manufacturer | Up to £28,000

Job Overview:


Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with a growing & highly acquisitive Manufacturing business in West Manchester who're looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their growing team.. You will support the Credit Manager & the key to this role will be that you will build in-depth knowledge and relationships with both internal and external customers.

Salary: up to £28,000

Location: West Manchester

Main Duties:

  • Chase payment for aged debts from a portfolio of customers using a variety of communication methods
  • Allocate and reconcile cash to multi-currency debtor accounts
  • Ensure customer disputes are promptly entered on workflow system and communicated to regional contact
  • Liaise with internal contacts to resolve customer disputes/account issues
  • Effectively manage workflow strategies to review and monitor aged debt to ensure maximum cash collection
  • Weekly and monthly reporting packs within specified deadlines
  • Working as part of a team to achieve group targets and objectives
  • Support the management of strategic risk within the department.


Person Specification:

  • Excellent communicator who can liaise at all levels
  • Team player who is able to quickly establish relationships
  • An ability to meet deadlines and deliver work in a fast paced finance environment
  • Open minded to flexible ways of working and able to adapt to new processes and procedures.
  • Good excel skills required
  • SAP experience preferred
