Credit Controller| Birmingham City Centre| Permanent| Part-Time| £25,000-£30,000 (Prorated)

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to work for a well-established business located in Birmingham City Centre, joining their team on a permanent basis.

The Company

Seymour John have partnered exclusively with a well-established business based in Birmingham City Centre, who are looking to hire a resilient, pro-active Credit Controller with good previous experience of working in a similar role.

The Opportunity

Overall duties of the role will include:

  • Managing and collecting debts
  • Ensuring timely payment of debts
  • Following up payments and negotiating plans when required
  • Responding to relevant client enquiries
  • Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems
  • Preparing statements, client status reports and all relevant information as required
  • Managing sales ledger
  • Liaising with external bodies e.g. solicitors
  • Providing general administrative support to the team

Personal Profile

This is a fantastic, newly created role for an experienced Credit Controller with plenty of enthusiasm and a professional, confident attitude towards their work. This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships, to ensure the smooth running of accounts, therefore you must have strong communication skills and be diplomatic when liasing with others.

Hours are between 15-20 hours per week
