We are currently seeking a Credit Controller for a 3-month temporary position based in Brighton. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a knack for maintaining financial health and managing accounts receivable. • Managing and collecting debts from company debtors
• Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers’ credit rankings with banks
• Setting up the terms and conditions of the receivable and payable balances
• Dealing with internal queries about payments, ensuring customers pay on time and negotiating re-payment plans
• Assisting in the setting up of the credit control system
• Ensuring that all transactions are compliant with company’s policies
• Handling disputed bills and negotiating to bring payment within the agreed terms
• Providing administrative support to the team

• Proven experience as a Credit Controller
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
• Competence in decision-making and working with numbers
• Ability to work in a team and to manage tasks independently
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
