The Opportunity

You will be joining a very well-established, prestigious and highly regarded Consultancy business as their Credit Controller (EMEA) on a full-time, permanent basis. Part of a close-knit Credit Control team of 6, reporting into the Credit Manager, you will be supported by a much larger wider finance team consisting of Accounts Payable, Billing, Management Accounts and more. You will be based in their modern Central London office once a week, with the opportunity to work from home for the remaining four days.

Role Responsibilities

In your new role, you will be responsible for collecting outstanding invoices including reporting, chasing debt and attending reviews/meetings. You will play a part in actively resolving all credit balances/unassigned cash within the region and documenting this in line with the firms legal requirements, assist with month-end close (from an AR perspective), post cash accurately in a timely manner including intercompany payments, prepare the quarterly review of country commentary of all invoices over 180 days, identify all bad debt write-offs, assist with time sensitive projects and provide general assistance to the Credit Control Team Leaders on a daily basis. You will liaise closely with the AP and Billing teams to resolve queries and escalate queries when appropriate.

Role Requirements

In order to be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you will need to have at least 2-3 years of relevant Credit Control experience, be a confident and professional individual, possess strong communication skills and be a team player who enjoys working in a collaborative and high-performing environment. You will need to be very organised and have a committed, enthusiastic and willing approach to all tasks. Ideally you will have previously used SAP or another similar Accounting software and you must be confident with the use of Excel to an intermediate level. You will have an outstanding work ethic, a proactive approach and a can-do attitude. You will be a dedicated and driven self-starter with a clear passion for numbers.

You will receive an annual salary of up to £42,000 + Annual Bonus + Benefits, and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate.
