Credit Controller - £26,000 / £30,000 – 6 Months - Reading - Hybrid Working

An introduction to the company and role:

Wade Macdonald are currently working with a great business that are currently going through some changes and needs a credit controller to join their friendly, outgoing team initially for 6 Months.

What will be the responsibilities in this role?

  • Managing your own ledger and ensuring all debt is collected to the agreed terms
  • Escalate any bad debts
  • Daily Recording and banking of cheques
  • New customer account set up, credit check, credit limits set
  • Assisting the wider finance team with any other duties
  • Develop and maintain good relationships both internal and external clients, both verbal and via email
  • Assist with any audits

What experience do you need?

  • At least 1 year of experience in Credit Control
  • Previous experience working within a fast-paced working environment
  • Ability to prioritise tasks
  • Intermediate Excel skills
