Description

  • Assess and monitor credit risk for new and existing customers.
  • Establish and maintain credit limits in accordance with company policies.
  • Proactively contact customers with overdue payments to secure timely payment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimise aged receivables.
  • Negotiate and agree on payment plans when necessary.
  • Review and issue invoices in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accuracy of invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and distribute regular customer statements.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries related to billing and payments.
  • Provide excellent customer service to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Generate and analyse reports on the status of outstanding debts.
  • Provide regular updates to management on credit control performance.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports related to credit and collections.

Profile

  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of credit control principles and practices.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • May be working towards an Accountancy Degree
