Credit Controller

Robert Half are currently seeking an Interim Credit Controller to join one of our clients based near Portishead for an initial 6 month contract. They are extremely flexible with hybrid working and offer an excellent working culture.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months with potential to become permanent

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (hourly rate equivalent)

Hybrid working - In the office 1 x day a week

Working hours - The working hours are 37.5 hours per week

You will use your skills to:

• Managing a pre-determined process, with multiple contact points, advising clients of their options to settle outstanding fees due, some of which will have accrued over a number of years
• Ensuring client contact details are complete and sending recorded delivery letters to all member trustees at all relevant addresses
• Dealing with responses and goneaways accordingly to ensure all bases are covered in terms of advising clients of likely action
• Liaising with clients on their options to clear fee arrears, which may be one or a combination of different options (training will be provided)

Required experience/background:

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in credit control and exhibit professional manor when dealing with clients
• Analytical approach and good attention to detail
• Computer literate
• Good organisation skills and the ability to manage workload and priorities
• The ability to work to deadlines
• Willingness to learn
