Credit Controller to work in Solihull on a hybrid basis. The Credit Controller is responsible for providing high levels of debt collection/recovery, ensuring the sales ledger is accurate and providing excellent customer satisfaction and service.

Key Responsibilities are:
Cash Collection
Work with Sales, Operations and Finance on the debt collection process.
Analyse and monitor debtors, ensuring prompt action is taken for non-payment and overdue debts.
Actively monitor aged debt and take the responsibility for reviewing / reconciling accounts.
Produce debtor reports in line with process & policy while ensuring commentary is updated on the reports and in the system.
Prepare proposals for legal action and manage the legal recovery process with the debt collection agencies.
Ensure return of deposits (RODs) are actioned in line with policy.
Ensure customer accounts and aged debtor reports are accurate by working with the Operations and Treasury team to allocate receipts and help resolve issues with unassigned receipts and payment discrepancies.
Work with the relevant teams to stream-line the DD collection process with the aim to get more customers to sign up on DD.
Review DD runs with the relevant teams before collection.
Review and manage bounced DD reports and ensure the debt collection process is followed for any failed DDs.
Provide continuous improvement suggestions with a growth mindset for a more efficient working environment.
Provide supporting documentation and assistance with internal and external audits

You must have credit control experience. In return study support and hybrid working is on offer
