Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices
  • Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to follow up on outstanding payments
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment status
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries and resolve issues
  • Prepare and send out monthly statements to customers
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports related to accounts receivable

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in using accounting software and data entry skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle difficult conversations with customers while maintaining professionalism
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
