Credit Controller- Strong Bonus

Collections Specialist, Bicester, £27,000+ Monthly Bonus (OTE- £45,000)

IN2Consult is partnered exclusively with our client on a Collection's Specialist role. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and expedite the collection of outstanding debts from their clients. You will ensure timely payments, reduce overdue balances, and maintain effective communication to achieve collection targets. Our client is growing rapidly, having doubled their headcount in the last 12 months. 

This role comes with the best bonus structure on the market, offering an upcapped monthly bonus averaging an OTE of £45,000 as you earn bonuses based on your collections. The higher the debt risk or size of the payment, the greater the bonus!

Responsibilities for the Credit Control role: 

• Proactively contact clients to pursue overdue payments via phone, email, and written correspondence.
• Maintain and update accurate records of all debt collection activities.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to improve debt recovery rates.
• Negotiate repayment plans and settlements with clients in a professional and tactful manner.
• Monitor aged debt and prioritise collection efforts based on risk and amount owed.
• Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to resolve any billing disputes that hinder payment.
• Prepare and present regular reports on debt collection progress to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations regarding debt collection.
• Identify and recommend improvements to existing collection processes.

Qualifications for the Credit Control role: 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, not mandatory.
• CICM preferred, not mandatory. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero etc)
• 3+ years experience in credit control & collections
