Credit Controller / Ballymena / Permanent

Reed Recruitment is excited to be working with a local business in Ballymena, assisting them with the recruitment of a full-time, permanent Credit Controller.

This is a full time permanent opportunity, 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm with a 3pm finish every other Friday.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within an organisation offering a supportive and friendly team environment, as well as the opportunity to grow and develop with the role.

The successful applicant will be required to complete the duties:

• Timely + effective collection of all debts and customer payments for a group of three companies

• Promptly + efficiently resolve queries both internally and externally

• Providing copy invoice and POD’s

• Agree credit account applications –run credit checks when necessary

• Process customer credit card payments

• Bank + credit card postings

• Resolve issues with short payments + customer remittances

• Prepare bank lodgements

• Complete monthly EC sales, including VAT number checks

• Complete monthly intrastate returns

• Regularly liaise with sales team regarding customer accounts

Essential Experience

• A minimum of 1 years’ experience working within a similar credit control role and experience completing financial duties would be preferred

• IT Proficient to include MS Excel.  Pervious experience working with MS Navision software would be an advantage.
