Credit Control

REED are exclusively recruiting for a Fees Officer for an Poole / Bournemouth based Education Establishment. This is a Temporary role, to start immediately for full time hours (Based in Poole) - Free Parking is available. 

The purpose of the position is to enable student fee collection in a timely manner, minimizing any impact on student retention.

TEMP Role, Immediate Start - Pay Rate up to £12.30 per hour 

Duties include: 

• Plan and execute the student debt collection and accounts reconciliation process using College systems and reports (sales ledger, aged debt report, student payment plan system, debtor accounts)

• Manage all fee related administration and communication (outlook inbox, dealing with students directly, WPM, Student Finance liaison, referral to external debt collection agency)

• Monitor accounts and create accurate KPI reports for both Finance and Directors of Learning

• Work closely with the Student Finance team to maximise the application of bursary entitlements

• Keep outstanding debt levels under constant review

• Work empathetically with students in financial difficulty to find solutions

• Investigate and clear debtor accounts

Requirements

Communication skills including written and verbal

Excel proficient eg filter, sort, formulae

Word proficient eg mail merge, templates, letters

Debt chasing/credit control experience
