Role Overview:
As a Credit Control Team Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health of the company by overseeing the credit control function. Your leadership will be instrumental in optimizing cash flow, minimizing credit risk, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of credit control professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Develop and implement credit control strategies to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Monitor debtor balances, aging reports, and credit limits, taking proactive measures to minimize overdue payments.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve credit-related issues and escalate complex cases when necessary.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in credit control, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and credit risk management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead a team to meet tight deadlines.
