We are seeking a diligent and proactive Credit Control Supervisor for our client based in the Llanelli area. This role is integral to the Finance Team and requires a candidate who can efficiently oversee debt recovery while maintaining positive client relationships.

Description

The Role:

· Supervise the day-to-day operations of the credit control team.

· Implement effective debt recovery strategies.

· Ensure all credit control processes align with industry and company standards.

· Maintain accurate records of all credit transactions and collection activities.

· Develop and nurture positive relationships with clients.

· Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department for monthly reports.

· Monitor client accounts for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.

· Offer recommendations for improving credit control procedures.

Profile

The Ideal Candidate:

· A solid understanding of credit control principles and practices.

· Accounting qualifications or working towards, preferred.

· Experience in manufacturing industry or similar, preferred.

· Excellent IT skills, especially MS Excel.

· Strong leadership skills.

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

· A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to work.
