Credit Control/ Sales Ledger

Hays are working exclusively with a fast paced business who are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant/ Credit Controller to join their team on a 12 month contract
Your new role
You will be working within a small and friendly team and taking responsibility for:
- Credit control - Managing and chasing outstanding debts, resolving queries and problems
- Credit checks and Credit Limits
- Sales Ledger - producing invoices and posting & allocating cash
- Payroll - Processing time sheets
- Purchase ledger - Covering for purchase ledger when required
- Other ad- hoc accounting tasks
What you'll need to succeed
You should be available at short notice and happy to commit to a 12 month contracts. You will need to have previous Credit Control/ sales ledger or accounting experience. (Payroll processing can be taught). Good IT skills including Excel are required and is good interpersonal skills
