Summary:

We are working with the UK’s only Supplier of 100% green gas and renewable electricity and they are looking for an experienced Credit Control Manager to join the business. As the Credit Control Manager, you will be responsible taking a hands-on approach to manage the team of credit controllers as they contact customers who have outstanding debt on their account. You will help investigate and fully understand individual customer accounts with the objective of resolving issues that affect their bills, helping them understand how to better manage their energy account, alongside arranging payment of ongoing usage and existing debt. Key responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of 5 credit controllers
  • Forming payment arrangements for business and domestic customers
  • Communicating with customers and discussing their energy bills
  • Communicating and reporting to internal teams
  • Working with our debt collection agents and managing the allocation of debts to the agents.

Skills and experience required:

  • Senior Credit Control experience is essential
  • Must have worked within an energy supplier or consultancy
  • Strong Maths and English Skills
  • Customer Service Skills
  • Very strong Excel skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt
  • Tenacity and drive, and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work with and manage a team.
  • Managerial experience
