Meridian Business Support are working with a Further Education College based in Cheshire.  They require a Creative Media Lecturer t deliver as a specialism within the Media and Music department. Courses are delivered within a specialist creative environment.

The Media Production provision seeks a highly motivated Creative Media specialist to deliver UAL Level 2 and 3 Creative Media Production and Technology qualifications.

The post will involve course leadership, curriculum planning, delivery and assessment of a range of courses across the College curriculum in the areas of Media and Film up to Level 4.

Key Accountabilities

  • Teach on a range of Creative Media unit at all levels, including curriculum design, preparation of schemes of work, lesson plans, lesson delivery, assessment and marking of coursework.
  • Undertake responsibilities including pre-course assessment, induction and review of progress and assessment.
  • Participate in and contribute to curriculum development and review, including the development, marketing and introduction of new courses.
  • Contribute to all quality assurance requirements relating to the course programmes on which you teach.
Ideal candidates will hold
  • A teaching qualification 
  • Experience teaching in Further Education 
  • Creative Media specialism 
  • DBS on the update service, or be willing to have a new one processed.
