Creative Classroom Assistants

Milk Education is partnered with a variety of Primary Schools in the Wigan area and we are looking to employ Creative Classroom Assistant to work within their Primary Schools to support children either on a 1:1 or Wholeclass basis.

These roles are to start immediatley and range from day to day, short-term and long-term roles. The working days range from working 3 days per week to 5 days per week, with the working hours being 08:30am- 15:30pm.

Creative Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities:

–          To work under the direction of the class teacher, offering general support or supporting children on a 1:1 basis

–          Must have an enthusiastic approach, and become a positive role-model for the children

–          Be extremely pro-active with the ability to use your initiative

–          Provide a safe environment for the pupils, enabling growth in social and learning development

We are looking for people with a background in:

–          Dance

–          Sports

–          Arts

–          Music

–          Design

–          Performance

What you need to apply:

–          The passion to enable children’s development and to assist them to fulfill their potential

–          You must have previous experience working with children or young adults in the past 2 years

–          DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one
