This Cover Teacher role would see you setting up lessons and ensuring they run smoothly across a variety of subjects and year groups, enabling you to put into practice and build on your classroom skills.

The Cover Teacher opportunity would suit a seasoned educator as well as a graduate who is seriously considering a career in teaching. This is a perfect role for someone who is eager to impact within the classroom but through a flexible route.

Cover Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Cover classes and ensure lessons run smoothly
  • Work across Key Stage 3 & 4
  • Support a variety of subjects
  • Ensure lessons objectives are met
  • Welfare of students

Cover Subject Teacher Requirements:

  • Strong academic background
  • Confident classroom manner and behaviour management
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (must have valid visa/ overseas police check if relevant)
  • Relevant references covering your last two years of employment
  • An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS
