Staff for Education are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to work at Secondary Schools in the Grantham area to start ASAP. We have several vacancies available, ranging from day to day supply, short term and long term positions.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment for the students. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Managing student behaviour in the classroom in line with the school policies
• Delivering pre-planned lessons to the class when a teacher is absent
• Providing clear instructions to the students to ensure they understand the work set and their learning objectives
• Providing support and guidance to students when needed
• Collecting in students work at the end of the lesson to give to the relevant member of staff
• Reporting any safeguarding concerns to the relevant person at the school

In order to be considered for the role, you must:
• Have experience working in a school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
• Have a passion for working with young people
