Cover Supervisor

Seven Resourcing are looking for Cover Supervisor's in the Portsmouth Area, to work on a supply Basis, with the options to work part time or Fulltime at both Primary and Secondary schools.

Pay Details : £85 - £95 a day - Umbrella or PAYE - Rate are Flexible Depending

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Cover Supervisor. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of the regular teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in education or pursue a career in teaching or the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

-             Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.

-             Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a culture of respect and cooperation among students.

-             Deliver pre-prepared lessons and activities as directed by the absent teacher.

-             Provide support and assistance to students as needed, maintaining a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.

-             Maintain accurate records of student attendance and behaviour.

-             Collaborate with teaching staff and administration to ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences.

Requirements:

-             Experience in either teaching/learning/child support working environments, good literacy and numeracy skills, good communication skills with ability to form effective relationships with a variety of different people.

-             Compliance - Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. Enhanced DBS/Children’s Barred List check .
