Cover Supervisor - Stockport

Tempest Resourcing are currently looking for experienced cover supervisors that are seeking work in secondary schools. We are working with a number of secondary schools and academies in Stockport, who are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic cover supervisors with a strong behaviour background. If you have patience, a great sense of humour, and are dedicated on improving the lives of young people, this opportunity may be for you.

CONTRACT DETAILS:

• Location - Stockport
• Job Title - Cover Supervisor
• Start date - ASAP
• Contract type - Temporary
• Full time and part time available
• Rate of pay - £80 - £110 per day (PAYE and Umbrella available)
• Hours - 8:15 am - 15:30 pm

THE ROLE:

• Taking the lead in the absence of the teacher
• Conduct pre-planned lessons
• Encourage learning
• Managing the behaviour within the classroom
• Managing handover back to the teacher
• A background or degree in science, English, ESOL, or sports would be beneficial

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:

• 6 Weeks experience working with children in the UK
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• A nurturing and caring nature
• Excellent communication skills
• DBS on update register or be willing to process a new application
• References for last 2 years work history
• Up to date CV
