Cover Supervisor

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher. Your role will involve supervising and supporting students, managing the classroom environment, and delivering pre-prepared work or activities. You will have the chance to work with various age groups and subjects, contributing to a stimulating and positive learning atmosphere.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervising and managing the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Supporting students in their learning and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain on task.
• Upholding the school's policies and procedures.

Person Specification:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and manage classroom behaviour.
• Flexibility and availability for ad hoc assignments.
• Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is advantageous but not essential.
