We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as a Cover Supervisor for schools in the Tonbridge area. In addition, applicants for this role will have the option to work as a Teaching Assistant, broadening their experience and impact within the educational community.

As a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant, you will create a supportive and engaging learning environment, providing essential assistance to students to help them achieve their full potential.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes during teacher absences, fostering a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
• Provide guidance and support to students, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard.
• Address general inquiries and deliver constructive feedback after cover lessons.
• Contribute to student well-being and cultivate a nurturing ethos within the school community.

• Demonstrate a friendly and approachable demeanour, building strong connections with students and colleagues.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, forming meaningful relationships with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Exhibit strong organisational capabilities, adaptability, and composure in a dynamic classroom setting.

Please note that this Cover Supervisor role requires a solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful candidates must undergo background checks, including an enhanced child DBS on the update service or a willingness to apply for a new one.
