In this role, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of regular teachers, ensuring the continuity of learning and maintaining a positive learning environment. Your role is crucial in providing support to students and staff during teacher absences.

We're seeking a dedicated cover supervisor to join our educational team in Wigan, providing support to students in KS3 and KS4. The daily pay rate for this position ranges from £85 to £100, depending on your experience, qualifications, and teaching level.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils within a classroom setting
  • Provide a well planned, purposeful learning environment
  • Use imagination to enhance learning experience
  • Be observant and manage behaviour and distractions
  • Collect in pre set work and return to the appropriate teacher
  • Manage the classroom and keep pupils on task
