A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a Court of Protection Solicitor to join a reputable department based in Walsall. The firm offers some level of hybrid working, on-site car parking and a supportive working environment. 

The department 

The firm has a large team split across the department for mental health and court of protection work. The team has a very strong team ethos, and all work collaboratively to support one another. This role will have access to a support team member too - to assist with administrative side of the caseload.

The role

This is a court of protection solicitor role within the team. The role has arisen due to expansion and as such the firm is seeking a Court of Protection Solicitor to join its busy mental health department dealing mainly with legal aid cases concerning health and welfare decisions.

The person

To be considered you must be a Court of Protection Solicitor, ideally with some knowledge of the Mental Health Act. The firm is open to seeing anybody from 2 years' PQE upwards. Team player is key to this role!!
