You : 

My client is a well known firm with a regional presence who require  a Private Client Solicitor to join their busy dedicated experienced Court of Protection team.
Covering all aspects of Court of Protection work you should have upwards of 2 years PQE and be able to handle a caseload without supervision.
What's important here is that you have strong organisational, time management and interpersonal skills.
If you do not already hold a STEP qualification then we would support the successful candidate in the relevant studies to achieve this standard.
All members of our Team take an enthusiastic interest in the department’s business development and we would wish for you to actively participate in this role.

The role : 

Typically you'll run files and work with the Deputy in dealing with the Court of Protection and the OPG.
You'll advise on all matters at dispute stage, preparing general court applications, statutory will applications, representing the deputy at COP hearings, instructing counsel as appropriate and you'll investigate suspicions of Financial Abuse.

Naturally you'll be able to communicate with clients, family members and be able to handle things delicately.
