Country Finance Manager

Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of a permanent Country Finance Manager based in Edinburgh paying £70,000 - £75,000 plus bonus & benefits.

The Role

The position of Country Finance Manager reports into the Country CFO, with a dotted line to the Group CFO. This is a pivotal and highly varied role that plays a significant role in strategy, commercial finance and financial governance. The key components of the role include:

Commercial Finance

• Business partnering with non-financial Heads & Divisions
• Assisting CFO with decision making, direction and strategic planning through financial analysis
• Production and presentation of monthly reporting packs
• Corporate finance support of mergers & acquisitions including due diligence, investment appraisal, integration
• Investor relations reporting & analysis
• Financial analysis - costs, margins, pricing etc.
• KPI setting and reporting
• Budgeting & forecasting

Financial Governance/BAU Finance

• Hiring, training and development of the finance team
• Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems
• Preparation of statutory accounts
• Annual audit preparation including liaising with External Auditors
• Balance sheet integrity and reconciliations
• Assisting with taxation
• Assisting with cash management & treasury
• Managing transactional finance - AP, AR, credit control & payroll

Candidate Profile

We are keen to engage with candidates that met the following criteria:

• Qualified Accountant with 2/3 years+ post qualification experience
• People management experience
• Strong financial accounting & governance experience
• Can demonstrate commercial finance exposure
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
