Central Employment is working alongside an industry-leading Packaging manufacturer within team valley who are looking for an Estimator to join their growing team on a full time a permanent basis.

Responsibilities  :

  • Running the commercial process through the business.
  • Understand the Customer/salesperson's requirements, highlighting any gaps in client detail.
  • Determine key variables for cost and other estimates.
  • Gather first-hand information from the design team, production team and logistics.
  • Obtain data on labour costs, materials, production times, etc.
  • Prepare commercial reports to aid decision-making for management.
  • Raise quotations, ensuring product specs, pricing, and other terms are clearly illustrated.
  • Review current margins against historical data.

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience in a similar commercial role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to solve problems efficiently.
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
  • Efficient workload management with the ability to highlight and identify key client deadlines.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday - 8am – 4.30pm

Fridays – 8am – 12.30pm

30 minutes unpaid lunch break

Salary and Additional Benefits:

  • Salary up to £24,000 per annum DOE
  • 25 days annual leave plus usual bank holidays (or equivalent shifts)
